Talk from Mr. Syafiq from Shell, Miri.

I like the way he delivered the talk even though I’m quite sleepy at the beginning. At least, I’m not sleepy at the end as there are lots of information that I think I have to know.

What the talk is all about?

If you ask me the entire speech perhaps I don’t remember at all. All I know is about working as production technologist (production engineer), the life at oil rig, working condition and problem that usually occured.

I love the quote,

“If you wanna work on that field, be the best in it”

That means if you wanna be drilling engineer so, you must expert in drilling courses. Same goes to other courses.

Huhhh…. I love working at offshore, being far far away from people with surrounded by the sea and fresh air. Oh, I love it! For some people like he said, might go crazy with that situation.

“I can stand there just a week. After that, I will go crazy..I’m talking like crazy”

Oh before I forgot, I think he is not such ordinary person. He graduated from UTP year 2007. He got offered from PETRONAS, Schlumberger, and also Shell. And he choose Shell.

I’m very very impressed of him as he manage to convince those company. I wonder how he’s going through the interview. Perhaps like Alep said, he got better communication skills. And YES!! I agree with that.

Hmm….

Tomorrow there will be only one class at 3.00. For me, tomorrow is extra holiday. Today is also holiday. But dont forget friends. Next week is hell. Four test to go, Two assignments to complete and a presentation to go. Woww!!
